Professionals from academia, the media and the non-profit sector came together in Beirut on 17 August 2015 to discuss the evolving relationship between religious extremism and Syria society.

Syrian Culture in Times of Conflict

Syrian Culture in Times of Conflict is a completed Sharq project that invited over 40 cultural actors to participate in discussions that addressed a number of topics related to the culture and future of Syria and its people. The discussions, held in 2014 and 2015 in front of live audiences in Beirut and Stockholm, were live-streamed and can now be viewed at www.SyrianCulture.org
